Poker Face

This weekend was so much fun! I was so exhausted from our halloween party on friday night that i slept all day on saturday until 7pm! We had a lot of fun and a lot of people came to our party! I was Lady Gaga because I really love her! I mostly made my costume and worked so hard on it. I had been working on it since september and even sewed some of it. I was really proud of it when i was finished! I got the reaction I was looking for at least. This is a picture of my costume from the party. I think I'm going to sell it on ebay now. After all, I can't really wear it again!

puppy mills are so sick

So a lot of people don't know that I really love dogs and more often than not feel worse for them than i do people. I know a lot of people would argue with this that there are so many children who need help too and TOTALLY agree! Animals just really break my heart and I could cry thinking about some of the lives they have. 
The biggest problem I have with the treatment of animals by far is puppy mills.  According to www.idausa.com, Puppy mills are facilities that mass-produce puppies for sale to individuals or for pet stores throughout the country as well as to emerging foreign markets. From back yard breeders to those selling via the Internet, thousands of puppy mills aren't even regulated or inspected by the USDA since they sell directly to the public. Why is this so bad? The conditions that these dogs live in while breeding is terrible! The "breeders" continually breed the dogs so the females are pregnant up to 7 times per year! (What if you had to be pregnant your whole life?!) On top of that, They are never let out of their cages that they share with 15 other dogs. They are filthy and starving and the cages are stacked on top of one another. When raids are done and the dogs are finally let out, they don't even know how to walk on grass because they never have. The only way to run these mills out of business are to NEVER buy a puppy from a pet store or from any "breeder" who seems sketchy. I.E. breeders who only deliver puppies, will not let you see the parents or where the puppies are raised, sell multiple breeds all the same age, or advertise puppies as "micro mini" or "t-cup". 


Raids are being done all the time and many dogs are put up for adoption. These dogs need a lot of rehabilitation and patience and it takes a special person to help them. For more info or how you can help visit http://www.prisonersofgreed.org/.

New Taylor Swift--IN LOVE

So I just bought the Taylor Swift CD-SPeak Now, about 2 hours ago and I have already listened to the whole thing like 3 times! I am so in love with it. I really like how she can write such pretty songs about people who have hurt her. It's the perfect revenge. She makes millions and millions of dollars (22 million in 2009 alone) off of the idiots who hurt her feelings. If that isn't a slap in the face I don't know what is. Now I can add her 3rd CD to my collection!
A lot of people don't like Taylor Swift, but I encourage every one to go out and buy it!

Things that are SO weird.

I find so many things to be weird in this world and I wanna share them. Most of the time the things that are weird are also the things that make life interesting and sometimes hilarious!

I cannot for the life of me figure out what this creature is. I found him in the basement last night and literally examined him for 15 minutes, took some pictures, and decided whether he is or not, I want him to be a scorpion. I left him there so I can get some second opinions. Plus it gets kinda lonely down here and a scorpion is as good of friend as any!

This is Luke, my brother, and I in the "Morphsuits" he and my other brother, Zack just got. They are so much fun but so strange! I was so glad he actually let me put it on (he told me I was gonna rip it and had to "teach" me to put it on). We took them for a jog around the neighborhood and I HOPE the neighbors got a good laugh out of it. I think they think were insane.

Okay....does anyone else think this is so bizarre? WHY would someone think it was a good idea to write that on a baby bib? Maybe my mind is in the gutter but I still think it's really weird. 

I hope ya'll got a kick out of these things like I did! People who laugh a lot are proven to live longer so find something funny! 

So little time...

Sorry it's taken my this long to add another update. I'm just getting used to having something to update everyday like this. It's something I really wanted to do so I'm gonna try harder to keep up with it. I should really be getting to bed but I'm up working on my Lady Gaga halloween costume and trying to decide on something to wear to my JOB INTERVIEW tomorrow at Anthropologie. I'm so excited and have wanted this job for months! Finally they need me! I hope everything goes well!

On an even better note, last night my roommate, Emily's grandma, was rushed to the emergency room around 11. All 5 roommates in the house jumped in the car and went together. After seeing some VERY interesting characters and getting a little grossed out, we called it a night and went home to pray...and shower. I'm getting to the good news...After praying and surgery today to repair her ruptured colon, she is doing great and expected to recover well. God is great!

Anyways..back to my outfit choosing...I promise this will get more interesting! Maybe my stalker will follow me at school this week and provide some great stories!

What's going on now?

     I am in my second quarter of fashion school now at the Art Institute of Charlotte and i LOVE it! When I'm done with this semester, the plan is that I move to NYC and continue with fashion school there. A lot of people think this is nuts but I don't care.  I just moved into a house with 4 other girls and am loving it a lot. We have a lot of fun.

I guess I'll be glued to the DVR tonight. Up at 7:30 to go walking with Melissa and Emily.
